"Several months ago, I realized that I needed to become a better ME. I wasn’t happy with what I saw when I looked in the mirror and felt terrible, both mentally and physically. I had completed (and LOVE) the 20/30 program through Franklin Health and Fitness and lost weight, which was a start, but I knew I needed to do more. After a few weeks of saying I was going with a friend to spin class but always having things “come up” that interfered (or making excuses), I finally got out of my comfort zone and made it happen. Who knew I would LOVE spin class?! More importantly, I met Shannon Royce, who was one of the spin instructors and also a personal trainer that this same friend of mine had spoken to me about already. 

After talking with Shannon about what she could offer me in hour long personal training sessions, specifically designed to meet MY individual needs, I knew my days of making excuses were over. All I had to do was make the commitment, and I am so happy that I did! She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely cares about the wellness of each and every one of her clients. 

Fast forward to just 12 short weeks later... the multiple changes I have experienced have been worth every drop of sweat and every minute sacrificed away from all those “excuses” I didn’t let stand in my way. I am not satisfied with where I am, and I suppose we should always be a work in progress. I feel better. I sleep better. My attitude is better. I am just living life better, but as I told Shannon one day without even trying to use her business slogan, I feel like I am finally LIVING LIFE HEALTHY for the first time. Ever!
